I’m Jelp—a husband, father of two boys, and children’s book author. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, I now call Woodbridge, Virginia home and work for a nonprofit in Washington, DC.

Basketball and football have always been my sports. But when my son found his passion in gymnastics, I discovered that supporting his dreams meant learning something new myself.

That experience inspired I Just Want To Flip. My hope is to encourage children to embrace their gifts and remind parents of the greatness we can help nurture in them.
